Mom
July 7

Sridevi is ready to take the box office by storm yet again after English Vinglish. She plays the role of Devki, wife and mother of two daughters in her upcoming movie ‘Mom’ which also happens to be Sridevi’s 300th film. The movie also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna, and has been directed by Ravi Udyawar.

Jagga Jasoos

We all know well that Jagga Jasoos is the latest buzz of the industry. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles, the Anurag Basu film also stars Aadah Khan. The story revolves around a teenage detective who goes out to search for his missing father in a fantasy land. The makers of the movie have defined it as an “Indian musical adventure romantic comedy”, which might be the reason that it has about twenty songs. Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai

Bareilly Ki Barfi

The romantic comedy film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon and has been directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. The plot of the movie revolves around the three actors struggling with their lives, with Ayushmann Khurrana playing a printing press owner where Rajkummar Rao works under him, while Kriti Sanon plays a young girl from Uttar Pradesh. Munna Michael

Tiger Shroff plays the protagonist in the film Munna Michael while the female lead is being played by Nidhhi Agerwal, who makes her debut with this film. It also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and is being directed by Sabbir Khan. The story centres on a young boy, played by Tiger Shroff who is a huge fan of Michel Jackson whereas Nawazuddin Shah will be seen as a gangster who tries to sabotage his career. Arjun Kapoor will play a double role in the film Mubarkan which also stars Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz and Athiya Shetty. The film has been directed by Anees Bazmee who has previously directed comedy films such as Welcome and No Entry. Watch the trailer of the film below:

Bhoomi

Along with Sanjay Dutt, who will make a comeback with this film, Bhoomi also stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Sidhant Gupta. Directed by Omung Kumar, who previously directed Sarbjit and Mary Kom, the movie will be an emotional drama revolving around a father-daughter relationship. Jab Harry Met Sejal

This is undoubtedly the most awaited movie of the year. This Imtiaz Ali directorial venture stars the Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan alongside Anushka Sharma, and is creating headlines with its exciting posters and social media promotions. Toilet: Ek Prem Katha
August 11

Written by Sidhharth and Garima of ‘Goliyon ki Ras Leela Ram Leela’ fame, this film is a satirical comedy which focuses on the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan and has the government campaign to eradicate the problem of defecating in the open as the centre of the narrative. The sequel of the 2014 movie Bang Bang which starred Hrithik and Katrina, will star Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez, and will be directed by Raj & D. K who have also written the action film along with Sita Menon. The trailer of the movie is yet to be released.

 The official remake of the 1997 film Judwaa which starred Salman Khan and Karishma Kapoor has been in the news for quite a while now, and has gotten fans of the original movie really enthusiastic as they wait for the magic of the classic to be restored. The remake will star Varun Dhawan, Tapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez, and will be directed by David Dhawan who also directed the original movie.

Many of us remember the Jon Favreau’s 2014 Hollywood film Chef, and this movie will be its official remake. It will star Saif Ali Khan and Padmapriya in the lead roles and will be directed by Raja Krishna Menon of Airlift fame. The story of the film revolves around a chef who rediscovers his love for food and cooking and gets closer to his family.

Aankhen 2

The sequel of the 2002 film Aankhen is ready to hit the box office 15 years after the original movie about on a bank robbery conducted by three blind men was released. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, the film is set in Cape Town, and will be directed by Anees Bazmee.

Golmaal 4

The fourth film from the Golmaal franchise will release later this year. The cast remains same from the previous films with an exception of Parineeti Chopra replacing Kareena Kapoor. Golmaal fans are already thrilled for the Rohit Shetty directorial venture.

Padmavati
November 17

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next film is the big talk of the industry and stars Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. The story revolves around the historical legend of Alauddin Khilji, Rani Padmini and Rana Rawal Ratan Singh and will be brimming with grandeur like all other Bhansali films!

Tiger Zinda Hai

This movie might in fact be how 2017 shall be remembered. The much awaited Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer is all set to hit the theatres towards the end of the year.
The Ek Tha Tiger sequel will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and even though there is not much update on the movie yet, the audience seems pretty excited for it. The trailer of the movie is yet to be released.
