The Girl on the Train

Released On- Oct 7 2016

The movie has been released but the excitement with which we were waiting for it makes it worthy of a spot in the list. Based on the bestseller novel by Paula Hawkins with the same name, the movie follows the story of Rachel (played by Emily Blunt), who takes the same train every day, but one day a shocking event ensnares in a mystery she never wanted to be part of. We have read and loved the book, now let’s see if we can say the same for the movie.

Releasing on- Oct 14 2016

Another one of our favourite books turned into a movie to make us hold our breath! Cinematic adaptations of famous books more than often tend to be disappointing, changing too much of the book and focusing on irrelevant points. However, the trailer of Inferno looks promising and we are keeping our fingers crossed. We really hope the movie is as good as the book, and Robert Langdon, the extremely sexy Harvard symbolist is successfully able to decode Dante’s “The Divine Comedy” to save a global genocide.

Max Steel

Releasing on- Oct 14, 2016

Releasing next week, the movie is one of the most awaited movies of the year for a lot of different reasons- some are waiting to see how 16 year old Max McGrath (played by Ben Winchell) and his alien companion Steel combine to transform into the powerful superhero Max Steel to save the world, while some are waiting for the film to bomb at the box office! Guess we’ll have to wait another week to find out.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

Releasing on- Oct 21 2016

Tom Cruise playing a soldier who has to get to the truth of the false charges of violence and fathering a child that he has been accused of- can we be more excited for this movie?

Doctor Strange

Releasing on- Nov 4 2016

This one is going to be a treat! Marvel Comics is finally giving us a movie on another one of our favourite superheroes from the good, old comic days, and our beloved Benedict Cumberbatch at last is starring as a superhero! He just manages to look sexy in every role, you would know if you have watched the trailer, if you haven’t:

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Releasing on- Nov 18 2016

We Potterheads have been gearing up for this one since forever! Like seriously! And finally, at last, it seems to have paid off. It really sucks to live among the muggles after having spent (I so wish) our childhood at Hogwarts, so the movie will be an escape from the No-Majs (American word for Muggle) to dive into a new magical society!

Releasing on- Nov 23 2016

Starring Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard in 1942 North Africa and London, the film promises a lot with delicate and evergreen themes like love in the middle of war. Let’s see if it will able to deliver what it promises.

Rogue One: Star Wars

Releasing on- Dec 16 2016

This one is for all the Star Wars fans out there! The movie is going to be a spinoff to the original films and will be a stand-alone 3D film by Walt Disney Pictures. The events in the movie take place shortly before the events in the 1977 Star Wars movie, and follow the formation of a Galactic Empire.

Assassin's Creed

Starring Michael Fassbender, the movie follows the story of Callum Lynch who unlocks his genetic memories through a revolutionary technology and is able to learn the adventures of his 15th century ancestor.

Why Him

Why Him explores the insecurities and fears of a father in the most hilarious way possible.
