Films based on real life gangsters have been almost a rite of passage for the leading men in Bollywood. Bollywood has witnessed many dangerous mafias and underworld dons who. But this time it’s different- a beautiful gorgeous lady is ready to rule the mafia world. Don’t get shocked if you notice Shradha putting on some weight, grim expression, kohl eyed and covering her head with veil as the chuby, lovely girl is pepping for her upcoming flick helmed by Apoorva Lakhia. The minimal make-up and kohl look complements her attire. It is a biopic on Haseena Parkar, Dawood Ibrahim's sister. The new mafia queen of Bollywood is ready to impress us with her gutty, gritty look. The actress, who dons the burqa with elan in the poster, looks fiercely intense. The movie is setting the bar high with each poster release.

Most of Shradha’s reel characters are stuck in the cosmos of ‘old’ Bollywood. For the first time, the “Aashqui 2” fame actress moves into a raw and rugged never-seen-before avatar. The first poster of the movie is evidence to the extremely fearless and bold character portrayed by Shradha in the movie. Kapoor looks a stark contrast from her usual girl-next-door image. Seeing the poster, you instantly forget how you have seen her in Bollywood so far.

Shraddha’s role will showcase the life of Haseena from the age of 17 to 40. The first look of the film Haseena: The Queen Of Mumbai suggests that Shraddha Kapoor has decided to take a cue from scores of actors who usually 'get real' to be taken seriously. Shraddha went the extra mile to get into the skin of her character. The actress has literally been living the character through various prep works. Apart from undergoing a number of physical changes, she also met Haseena’s family to portray the titular role to the best of her capabilities.

The roles portrayed by the Kapoor girl till now have little enough to offer in terms of depth or range for the female lead and in that aspect, Kapoor’s foray into playing a real life is sure to offer the young actor a chance to shift gears.

“Younger or older”, Shradha slayed in both the looks! In the first one, Shraddha is seen sitting on a throne-like chair, in a mint-green churidaar and kurta with a dupatta. For the younger part of character, she noticed subtle nuances of similar age bracket people’s characteristics and tried to imbibe their mannerisms into her Haseena character. In her older version, the Baaghi star looks more intense in a black salwar-kameez. When late Haseena’s children's visited the sets of “Haseena” they not only ‘approved’ of Shraddha as their mother but also fell in love with the way the film was being shot.

The movie is more special as it marks the debut of Shradha’s brother Siddharth Kapoor. He is playing the role of notorious gangster Dawood Ibrahim in the biopic. This will also be the first time that fans will see the siblings in a film together. Let’s see how much the sister- brother duo succeeds in making impression in our minds!!!

Haseena’s posters have already generated enough curiosity to make it a big commercial success. With kohl eyed, intense and gutsy look Shradha impresses the audience. Irrespective of the stance that Lakhia takes to tell the story of Haseena Parkar one thing about the film is certain – it undoubtedly will be the role of a lifetime for Shraddha Kapoor. The fans are eagerly waiting to witness the unknown story of Haseena Parkar.
